Project Description

Happy Llama gets back to it’s roots in Eastern Colorado for Pedal the Plains.  We are happy to partner with them on their design concepts, apparel options, colors, and size breakdowns.  We then manage all printing, production and onsite sales, including Staging, Inventory Management, Volunteers Management and complete Post Event Reporting.  In addition we print all the marketing collateral and signage for Pedal the Plains.

In April 2012, Governor Hickenlooper and The Denver Post launched a one-of-a-kind cycling event celebrating the agricultural roots and frontier heritage of Colorado’s Eastern Plains. Described by the Governor as “a ride for the rest of us,” Pedal The Plains seeks to engage riders of all abilities, from seasoned cyclists to first-time riders, in an educational and recreational experience.  By participating in Pedal The Plains, cyclists will increase their awareness of the Eastern Plains by tasting food grown in the region, learning from local experts, exploring points of interest, meeting local farmers and ranchers and trying their hand at local crafts and farming techniques. Participants will experience the hospitality and charm of a new host community each day and in the evening, trade in their Lycra for Levis in preparation for good eats and libations, homespun entertainment and live music.
